aquassist is a commercial and domestic liquid waste collection and disposal company. It transports commercial and industrial waste streams nationally as well as providing regional septic tank emptying and sewage treatment plant de-sludging, services and disposal across herefordshire and gloucestershire.

who started up aquassist limited ? 

aquassist was started in 2000 by transport and logistics guru, jeffrey hancorn (jeff) and administration partner, padraig kelly (poz). their work experiences together taught them about the importance of good customer care and attention to detail, supported by a structured and scalable organisation with efficient administration systems and friendly, helpful staff.

what is their background ?

jeff started in the livestock road haulage industry which was a family run, farming transport business operated from his home village of canon pyon with his grandfather, dick patrick. poz came from a computer administration and support background in birmingham. they came together 16 years ago and throughout their relationship have also worked in the licensed hospitality trade running & operating restaurants, bars and even a 'hen & stag party' activity weekend hotel in leominster.

why did they start up a liquid waste disposal company ?

in 2000, having noticed a gap in the local liquid waste disposal market, they put their combined skill base together and decided to compete to offer better customer standards, for septic tank and sewage treatment plant customers in and around herefordshire.

what is our purpose in life ?

aquassist began in didley near allensmore in hereford and it's ethos was simple: give the customer a friendly, clean and punctual service at a reasonable price. communicate where delays occurred and give the customer relevant system information updates regarding any issues and offer clear solutions.

we aimed to show customers that with all of today's consumer products being used, regular emptying and maintenance of their septic systems was necessary. furthermore, scheduling these requirements means that we can better plan our logistics and this keeps the overall costs of private drainage down. we give the customers good, friendly and experienced advise too and we are also available for weekend emergencies.

how have we progressed ?

as a result, the company has gained a quality service reputation and has therefore organically expanded by means of satisfied customer's referrals.

over the next few years, aquassist had acquired a clean fleet of modern vacuum tankers with onboard jetting systems and an experienced, personable team of driver/operators and engineers to tackle the small and simple, to the large and complex septic tank, sewage treatment plant and drainage systems around.
